Cottage Gardening with Carol Kerkin 29th Oct
Join us for to an informative workshop with special guest Carol Kerkin.
We are thrilled to welcome Carol back to Brookfield Gardens. Carol began the transformation of her hillside garden from an abandoned banana plantation to a private paradise almost 30 years ago at Kingsholme, an hour south of Brisbane.
She will be comparing the traditional cottage garden with todays more ornamental one.
Carol will be looking at plants that were originally grown for useful purposes which we still grow today and the way that plants are arranged together to create a cottage garden that thrives in south east Queensland.
