Over a 15 year period, the McLay family have created an inspiring destination which has been built up from a small and simple nursery. Scott and Robin, together with their daughters Anna and Prue, embarked on a creative journey to develop the nursery into what it is today. With a clear vision and dedication to gardening and hard work it has been a journey with many challenges along the way.
At the very heart of their philosophy is our dedication to plants and an authentic love of gardening.

Established in 2008 Brookfield Gardens is a unique lifestyle destination and home to the Nursery, Wild Canary Botanical Bistro, the Gift and Home Shop, the Potting Shed and the Kitchen Garden.

Brookfield Gardens is a space for discussion, education and expression offering regular garden workshops and inspiration through beautiful content and ideas reflected in real local gardens. We share our wealth of experience through workshops and events, as well as offering garden design consultations.

We run children's workshops at Brookfield Gardens throughout the year to encourage the joys of gardening from an early age.

We have supported the wonderful Brisbane EKKA show for many years. We take great pride and pleasure in supporting our local show here in Brookfield every year and events such as Harvest and the Brookfield Long Lunch.
