Convolvulus cneorum, commonly known as Silver Bush, is a beautiful evergreen shrub grown for its silky silver foliage and masses of pure white trumpet-shaped flowers. Its naturally rounded habit provides year-round structure and brightness, making it a standout in Mediterranean, coastal and contemporary gardens.

Perfect for Brisbane's sunny climate, Silver Bush thrives in well-drained soils and is highly drought tolerant once established. It looks particularly striking when planted alongside lavender, salvias, rosemary and ornamental grasses, where its silver foliage contrasts beautifully with green and purple tones.

Brisbane Growing Tips

Plant in a sunny position with excellent drainage. Avoid heavy or poorly drained soils, especially during humid summers. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain a dense, rounded shape, taking care not to cut back into old woody stems.
