Lunch with Richard Unsworth
On Tuesday, 22 July 2025, Brookfield Gardens hosted a Makers & Creatives Lunch featuring landscape designer and garden writer Richard Unsworth, founder of Sydney’s renowned Garden Life.
Guests enjoyed a glass of bubbles and canapés before a seasonal two‑course lunch prepared by the Wild Canary team, all set amid the lush gardens.
The event was hosted by Brisbane arts writer Alison Kubler, editor of VAULT magazine, who led a relaxed conversation with Unsworth about his inspirations, challenges, and career – exploring topics such as sustainable garden design, a strong sense of place, and ways to live beautifully outdoors. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and connect over shared passion for gardening and design.
