Camellia Sasanqua Paradise Belinda

Camellias are one of the best autumn/winter-flowering shrubs in Brisbane. Camellia Sasanqua 'Paradise Belinda' is one of the most outstanding sasanquas to be released on the Australian market. It has large flowers (110mm wide) in a brilliant, glowing pink that can be enjoyed throughout autumn and winter thanks to an exceptionally long flowering season. The stamens have a petal-like appearance (know as petaloid stamens) further adding to their beauty.

Often a southern variety will not be able to tolerate the long summers, or a heatwave might dislodge the number of buds too close to flowering. We buy proven varieties from local growers here in South East Queensland that do best in our region.
