Camellia hiemalis Hiryu

Camellia hiemalis is a cross between sasanqua and japonica camellias, giving you the best of both varieties - sasanqua's dense foliage, early blooms, and sun tolerance, japonica's neat flowers and cold tolerance.

A small evergreen shrub to 2m with beautiful displays of flowers in autumn and early winter. Elegant deep rosy red flowers blended with darker red at the edges.
